Les Cedres - La Tulette
Assessment of engineering environmental impact - Neighbourhood planning 29,540
Context
The neighbourhood planning PLQ 29,540, Les Cèdres - La Tulette, plans the construction of 14 residential buildings and underground car parks. This project including more than 500 car park spaces has been the subject of an environmental impact assessment (EIE), 1st and 2nd steps.
Overview
The selective procedure of the impact assessment was defined in agreement with Impact Assessment Service of the Geneva State. It consists of 2 steps:
1) Approval of the neighbourhood planning
2) Building permit
Services
Following various reports and recommendations, the various contracting authorities have mandated our office to carry out the environmental monitoring during construction (SER) of two parallel projects: Les Cèdres and La Tulette. This monitoring concerns the different environmental components mentioned in the impact assessment reports. Particular attention has been paid to soil stripping (horizons A and B). The topsoil has been stored on agricultural parcels near the park, which reduces the lorry journeys.
